The Phoenician Golf Club

The Phoenician Golf Club

The Phoenician Golf Club was one of our first stops in Arizona this year. Located in the heart of Scottsdale this beautiful resort course runs right along the foothills of the Camelback Mountains.

Landscaped with amazing views of the mountains and city this course was truly a great stop this early into the season. Playing shorter at just over 6,500 yards this par 71 is still difficult in many ways. Longer par 3’s and 4’s stretch out the course in a different manner. With turning fairways and fast greens your iron play and putter must be on or you will be facing course scrutiny all day.
From the cascading waterfall at the entrance to the finishing 18th green the Phoenician Golf Club is a fantastic course and was a delight to play. Lines through a developing neighborhood we were very pleased with the mildness and vibe of the course.

This is peak season for golf in AZ so prices are at an all time high. If you have a troon pass or know someone who does this course is much more affordable. We were lucky to have a great day with a slight breeze and mild overcast.
If you are in Scottsdale or surrounding area I highly recommend playing the Phoenician. We hope to get back soon on a clear sky day to provide more city and Mountain View pictures or vlogs.

Where should we go next?!
